Technical Description and Specifications

The Hydraulic Stuffing Box is designed to contain wellbore pressure while allowing the slickline wire to move freely into and out of the well. By utilizing a hydraulic packing nut, the operator can remotely adjust the compression on the internal packing elements from the unit, ensuring a leak-proof seal even as the wire wears or well pressures fluctuate.

  • Function: Provides a dynamic seal around the slickline during operations and a static seal when the wire is stationary. It also features a safety “Blowout Plug” (Internal Shut-off Valve) that automatically seals the well if the wire parts and is pulled out of the box.
