Slickline Wire

Slickline Wire  is a single-strand, non-electric cable used to perform a wide range of mechanical well intervention operations in live wells . Constructed from solid steel wire and available in diameters from 0.072 to 0.2198 inches, slickline is deployed to run, set, and retrieve downhole tools such as plugs, gauges, gas lift valves, and shifting sleeves . It is also used for fishing operations, debris removal, and bottomhole pressure and temperature surveys . As a cost-effective and reliable “workhorse” of the industry, slickline requires no electrical power and offers fast, strong performance for routine well maintenance and remedial services. Corrosion-resistant alloys are available for sour (H₂S) and high-temperature environments
