A slickline Operator wanted to remove the risk of explosive gases when breaking up the PCE. They have installed 50ft of light weight flare lines but the fire source was a bucket with rags on fire. While working it was deemed unsafe, they asked for assistance and we sourced a Exproof sparking device. The cabinet is remote controlled and ex proof with a 50ft lead to the sparking device. Then the gases are released, they can burn off safely.
